I need some advice BHW.. I have this generic domain laying around and want to use for a new project. I'm gonna try building a google news site and then flip it for a profit but i'm not sure if this domain is still usable. The thing is i used this domain a year ago as an amazon affiliate sales funnel. The current site has a couple of thousand pages, all product reviews. But not like real review articles. It's just a combination of amazon review comments, photo's and stuff like that... the site pulls all it's content from amazon and puts it together into a nice sales page to get visitors to click that aff link to amazon. But basically there is 0 original content on the site..

When i first bought the domain it had pr1 which now is pr0. When i check in google it still has pages indexed though. So may question.. can i still use this domain for my project? My main worry is duplicate content penalty but then the whole site would be deindexed, right?
Reason i wanna use this domain is because it has over 10 years of age, a really strong brandname and some juicy links pointing to it.

Anyone experience with this guys?

Did your receive any kind of penalty in your gmt? If there is no penalty then you should not have any trouble using this website.

I've been noticing a bit more of a delay lately with getting some unused domains indexed it's a pretty small sample but it's a little slower in some cases lately. Don't get me wrong some are indexing in hours but I am seeing some delays.

Beef it up maybe throw a cheap link or two at it and give it some time. If it still won't index I'd make it a webmaster tools account and see if anything pops up in there after a day or two.
