Can I still use Scrapebox to scrape URLs from google?

It still works for scraping, though scraping google is a bitch in any scraper, but the other engines a lot simpler. Requires lots of proxies and slow scraping delay for google.
that was the plan, more proxies and more delays, I needed to make sure if it's still recommandable!

Its still used by everyone from newbies to fortune 500 companies. Literally tens of thousands of users using it. So yes Id say its still hands down the best. Plus its a lifetime license. They still work on it and support it every single day as well. In fact they are just finishing building scrapebox for mac, so if its good enough to build the entire program for mac in 2017, Id say its still good.

scraping google is very difficult and in my opinion its close to impossible now. I tried a lot with scrapebox with proxies but google seems to have blocked all proxies and servers. google will block even if you have something like a 5 minutes delay.
i have heard of things like google approved proxies but i don't know what those are.
google is now even blocking normal user searches if you use operators like site: and inurl: too much for a few hours. captcha would trigger.
at the moment you can try other search engines like bing for example. bing is much more generous to allow spammers to happily harvest as much as they want to.

if you want to scrape just keywords try http://teknife.com/teknife-keyword-scraper/ , 7 days free trials , no proxies needed , support all languages .

I'm sure Scrapebox does a fabulous job in scraping on Google, and it still works, just that the proxies you need to use are residential proxies that revolve their public IP address everytime a search or query is sent to Google. I am able to scrape fairly well and no issues, and I can vouch that the scrape results are pretty good from Google.
The public proxies that you harvest from the proxy module on Scrapebox cannot provide enough Google passed proxies, so the only way is to get a paid proxy service instead.
