Is it possible to start a successful shopify business with very little money? if not, how much capital would I need? I'm very new to this... So I would appreciate any advice about the dropshipping business.

It is doable with little money if you know what you are doing but for someone who is new i would recommend reading here on the forum before you go into any journey with or without money.

It's technically possible but I really, really wouldn't suggest it.

The failure rate is already super high and you're only stacking the odds even further against you. Do something else to build up some bankroll. Overtime at a job or freelancing and then take a crack at dropshipping. You'll improve your chances.

Yeah... but don't even think about promoting your stores on FB ads. eBay is a great platform to start with. they will send you free traffic + 50listings

My budget would be around $20. How much does marketing require?

Man you can't even get Shopify up and going for that. Like that's barely a domain.

We started our store on what we thought was a small budget... it was $5k. We tested hundreds of products, which was our first sizable expense. If you're building a brand, you don't want to be selling garbage or you wont have a massive exit at the end when you sell the brand off.

If you have a good longterm strategy on how to generate traffic, yes.

If you look for shortterm success, probably no.

Here is my recommendation for you: Learn SEO. All the information, how it works etc. are shared on here for free. SEO is a high income skill. Rank your websites and get a passive income.

With little money, you can't be successful in doing a drop shipping biz. you need patience and you need to spend money till you find a winning product.

When you say while broke - BIG NO!
