Can I share a personal open-source project?

Hi, I previously created a thread about an open-source project I was going to work on. I'd like to know if I can share the link and more details about it here, or if sharing links is prohibited, even if it's for GitHub and open-source projects.

Under our current rules, off-forum links are restricted.

They're mainly allowed in the opening post of a Marketplace thread, the signature of an upgraded member, and DMs.

Outside of that, it can become an issue if the post starts to look promotional or directs users off the platform.
