I recently worked on content on YouTube. My channel currently has about 40 thousand subs and 4 million short views. How much can I sell it for ? Can anyone tell me the channel price based on the number of subs?

Need a lot more info than just sub count and views.

Age of account?
Niche?
Average video length?
Monetized - Earnings?
Other engagement metrics, etc.
 
As @amsteve1 pointed out, providing you with an estimation as to how much you could sell your channel for is going to be pretty tough without any real information regarding the channel as there are a bunch of other aspects to take into account when pricing a channel.

Natheless... I would say a price in the neighborhood of $200-300 should be a minimum for such a channel.

If the channel is monetized and has original content, the price obviously jacks up.

Just take a peek at Accs-Market.com and you should be able to get an idea as to how much to price your channel at.
 
People are selling monetized channels with no content for 200 bucks
So, if you are monetized and your content is original and unique, you should be able to sell it for 500-750 dollars
 
Why sell it, hire a va to expand the channel.

Do what you can't.

its worth what some one will pay depending on the niche
 
there are many websites which are selling this kind of accounts so i'd suggest you going through those websites and get an idea of the price you can sell your account for. In that way you can bargain the price and sell to someone who will be interested in buying your account.

The price does not depend only on the number of subs. People will also check if the channel is monetized or not. Channel Analytics for the last 90 days and 28 Days. whether the channel has any warnings or strikes. Geo location of the views and subs etc.

You can start a thread here in bhw too if you are planning of selling multiple channels. But make sure you have jrvip subscription if your planning to sell here.

If it's monetised you can get monthly earnings x24 or x36. You can also sell it here in the marketplace monetised or not.

does it have any strike the account, how old is the account, niche, watch time interactions, so all depends how you sell it and find the person who will definitely pay you but give some more details about the account.

thank you very much for your advice. i listened to most people and kept the channel. in the past few months my channel has grown quite well
