Can I run SeNukeX? Need your response!

Hey guys! I just got SeNukeX from a friend of mine. I will buy an Alienware laptop next month. But in the meantime I have to do some SEO work for my clients. I have a pretty old machine (please don't laugh!) -

MY RIG!:
Intel Pentium 4 3.06 GHz
Ram: 512 MB
HDD: 200 GB
Graphics: 128 MB Geforce 4

I ran it but didn't do anything a while ago. And it ran smoothly! As if I am running notepad! I checked out the functions but didn't start any campaign. I am scared of system crush! I want to know on which rigs you guys are running SeNuke x?

Things I run regularly on this system:

1. Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate 6
2. Cyberlink PowerDVD 8
3. No.1 DVD Ripper 8
4. Ashampoo MP# Audio Centre
5. Mozilla Firefox 4
6. Adobe Photoshop CS2
7. Dark Room8
8. Tweet Attacks

You'll be fine. Just keep the total number of browser windows to a minimum (2 or 3)

The only bad thing on your system is the Ram, everything else is fine. But even with only 512MB of ram, it will still run ok.

Yeah was going to say the exact same thing, won't be much to upgrade to 2gb at all. Worth looking into!

Just like the 2 guys or gals above me... It's not the best config but it'll work... the main thing I see is the memory. As for the browser windows and thread keep them at a minimum 2-3 widows and 5 threads. Test it out and see what works. But once you get your Alienware everything will be a breeze.

im on a intel duo core, 2.0 ghz system, 4g ram and im able to do 8 windows and 20 thread without breaking a sweat.

I've voted 'not bad'

As Kickflip said, it will run fine but your RAM is too low and your system MAY crash if there are other programs running simultaneously...

As others have posted, you should be fine.

Another thing to consider: Do you really want a laptop? If you've got your heart set on one, then I'd say go for it.

But for the price of an Alienware laptop you could build a mean ass tower. I mean, the AMD 1090T chip (benchmarks close to the i7) is only $199 bux. Throw in 8 - 16gb of ram and w7 x64 you could run 3 virtual machines all running SEnuke simultaneously.

Least that's what I do. My 2c for what it's worth.

But I won't upgrade it Waiting for my Alienware M11x But I can't wait to impress my clients
