Hello everyone. Couldn't find another section that this would fit.

Basically I want to buy a wordpress theme since I can't find the most updated version anymore. But my question is, can I reuse a theme I buy onto multiple sites and the sites of clients?

Like, will the creators or anyone be notified that the theme i bought it being reused several times?

    Thanks in advance.

No, they will not be notified. Feel free to use it on as many sites as you like. I would suggest being diverse though.

It really depends on the type of license, I work for a company that develops themes and plugins and we can see on how many websites is a license active and we can see each one of them.

it all depends on the developer, so you should probably ask them.

if you're tech savvy enough you can remove the code that'll notify them though, if there is such a code in their themes.

You check the license, mostly theme developer give unlimited personal use, but you have to check the license while buying and also theme are open php code, you can be easily find where they have any call to 3rd party server, check the code for footprint "http://" or "https://".
