before i even found this forum i was making more online than at my last job. so believe me it is possible. just find your area of expertise. you can try diving into something you know nothing about, but ive found that youre a lot better off working with something you have knowledge about and can expand on. find your niche!

It's entirely possible. A lot of experts on this forum make enough money to live like kings (but they'll never give away their secrets... Your best bet is to come up with your own methods once you learn the basics and how everything works)
You can make even more than a regular full-time job, because there is no arbitrary limit on how much you can make. That's what I don't like about regular jobs: no matter how hard you work or how many great ideas for improvement you come up with, some jackass in the payroll department has decided that you don't deserve any more money, EVER. Making money in IM is hard at first. It might seem hopeless. But once you break in and start earning, you are only limited by your own ingenuity and work ethic.
Take control of your destiny! Work hard, work smart, and make yourself a millionaire!

Screw the job man. They don't pay anything and they keep giving you commands. So be your own boss. You can make a killing if you are into IM but if you work you are a slave to your boss lol.

For most of user here, internet marketing is dead.
While for a selected few, they will prefer to say internet marketing is dead. :rippedhan
you can earn nothing for 4 years and suddenly bank $1k everyday and make up the time and money lost before.
or you'll make less to none like most of people here.
Hardwork and dedication alone won't make you a fortune but good circle of friends helps a lot.
The very first thing to do is rake in some substantial capital and read more than forums.
You need solid foundation in advertising.
Spend some time reading high quality material (Advertising psychology stuff), instead of spending time reading all method listed here
75% of method listed here works fine but 90% who tried and fail thinks that the method doesn't work anymore despite the real reason is lack of their own advertising skill.

The short answer is yes it is possible to make that much money online. It is possible to make much more money. However, you mentioned the keyword in your OP - "right amount of hard work and dedication". So, basically it depends on you how much money you could make. Just treat IM like a real offline business.
