I need to somehow find out if it is even possible to rank higher on my site?

Can anyone help me if I provide them the keyword and website and tell me if it’s possible to rank higher?

I'm doing SEO with a ProSEOLabs now, but the results have not been what I was expecting.

Does anyone have recommendations?

You need to improve Your Site to rank it higher

1. Publish Relevant Content​

2. Update Your Content Regularly​

3. Metadata - Title Metadata, Description metadata, Keyword metadata​

4. Have a link-worthy site​

5. Use alt tags​

These are the main things to improve your ranking.

That is normal. You have to understand that in your SERP you have competitors which remain active and do the same things as you or even more. So you need to find out other ways, get them implemented and start serch for new ways etc...
 
It is possible but you have to take proper plan. SEO is the most importance factors for getting your expected result but do not do spam off-page SEO. On-page SEO is the most importance and legit for search rank. Mostly post content with relevant and use keywords, meta, image alt tag, remove error link etc. Hope you will get result
