Hi there, I have a new website about product reviews. (Top 10 reviews, single product review...etc) I don't review specific types of products. It's for all of the products available on the planet. Do you think I can make an authority in the eyes of Google? Is this idea worth the time I'm going to put on it? Or it's just a waste of time?

The product review is not a waste of time its main purpose is to provide buyers with a detailed and honest assessment of the product, by writing reviews you can build authority as a reviewer in the eyes of Google and also money, freedom, and traffic to your website. here are some tips, first get your hands on the product and Learn about it now tell its pros and cons, and finally the product's value and its price.
 
That's fine, you can keep working on it, but you need to post more articles and use better links to push up your authority & brand on search engines.!
 
It's a waste of time and you cannot make an authority site from it.
Even if you get lucky getting traffic, which is almost impossible, It'll be wiped out from the serps sooner or later.
So many giant players out there doing generic reviews, there is no space left for new sites with no background, history, age or links.
 
If you do something from the heart you will definitely get rewarded, so don't give up and move forward with integrity

Extremely difficult in my opinion. And you gotta spend an insane amount on backlinks.
Multi niche affiliate authority sites are like the megalodons in the SERPs.

Pick a niche, write content / reviews within that niche and you'll have a much easier time ranking. Not only do you need good content, you also need links (SEO is pay to play game), consistency and patience. You're not going to see results otherwise.

In my opinion, this is very challenging. You need to spend more time on this. If you still wanted to do i would say focus on high-quality content, select a specific niche, and acquire backlinks.

Building authority in the eyes of Google requires demonstrating expertise in the content you create. It may be difficult to establish yourself as an authority when covering a wide range of products.
