You can rank the Ecommerce site using PBN. But also include backlinks, content and guest posts as a backup ranking factors to avoid any risks.

Yeah, some people got ranked only with pbn's.
But depending on PBN alone entirely would be quit difficult .
So i suggest you to mix up with variety of backlinks , with a quality content and traffic.

Sometimes you could literally rank without any links at all with some proper keyword research and on-page.

Only with PBNs can't reach the TOP positions you have to build Niche relevant depend on your Products and the Keyword you are using
Because Traffic blogs and Niche Edits gets you the major role of rankings and you can use PBNs as Tier links sometimes
