So I have an article it is about 1500 words long. I have about 10 paragraphs in it. I used my internal link in paragraph #2 cause it is helpful. Now I want to include it in Paragraph #6 because it becomes helpful and relevant once again.

I was thinking that I just need to combine those thoughts that require the internal link into 1 paragraph. But it just wouldn't fit the flow of the article. So is it ok to use the same internal link twice in the same article just in different spots throughout the article?

I've seen websites do it and not get into any troubles with google (if that's your main concern).
My main concern is page value. I don't want google to think the internal link is spam and devalue either of the pages in its ranking.
But for the user it would definitely be helpful in both spots.
Instead you can include few words before or after
Do you mean switch up the internal anchor text? So don't used the same anchor text twice?

Yes, you can do it without any problem, if it's relevant, you can link it and mark it as nofollow.
You lost me at nofollow. I have never heard that we are supposed to nofollow an internal link. I am also not an SEO expert though. But um, nofollow an internal link? really?

Yes, it's cool, I have sites with links to the categories mostly repeated in articles sometimes. Never got a penalty or anything, and there is a better chance that you will keep the visitor on the site if you are providing multiple opportunities down the page, as they may choose to exit at a different reading stage.

I do this most of the time. Especially when the article is more than 2000+ words, I let it flow naturally...

Review/affiliate blogs do this all the time both with affiliate and internal links.

there's no real need for a nofollow link here,
it's a natural act to have multiple internal links to the same page for both contextual or not (sidebar, menus, footer, etc...)

No problem whatsoever.

While I haven’t tried this before, I believe you shouldn’t really have no problem doing this. If you later do, please let’s hear how it goes. Thanks
