If I stop in the middle of a comment posting session can I save the environment and restart where I left off at another time? If so how do I do this? (maybe it is as simple as stopping and saving the environment).

I am 10 hours into a run, have posted to 400+ blogs out of 2000 and still have 6000 to go. Does this sound right? My internet connection is fairly decent and I am surprised to only have posted this many in 10 hours...

I hope you're using the slow poster... using the regular comment poster I do 2000 in under 10 minutes and my SB machine is not too fancy at all.

MY poster seems to take forever when posting 20k comment, as well so i just normally let it run overnight, in the morning it either got hanged, crashed or error window show.

I suppose you are running slow poster since you are reporting these figures. In this case, try to have a quite clean list so run blog analyser first.

What you can do apart from the pause button!
    1. Save the big list that you want to use
    2. Start commenting
    3. Abort when you want and save posted blogs
    4. Load your scrapebox and import the big list (the first one).
    5. Go to import and then choose to import the posted urls and choose compare urls on domain level or url level (i choose domain)

You are going to have a list of urls while having excluded everything you have posted on.

I am using the fast poster but I do not have private proxies. My laptop is fairly new and has 4GB ram. Guess I need to try private proxies...

Thanks Bakxos, I'll do this next time.

I'm not using private proxies either, but a well tested list of public. Make sure you're testing them, take a list at some services provided here cheap.

I dont think that its the private proxies. Of course private proxies are way faster (thats the rule anyway) and more reliable etc. When i first got sb i used public proxies for like 1-2weeks until i got bored with cleaning the list every hour or so. I posted in around 100k blogs in like 8 hours or so with crappy laptop.

In any case, try to check the maximum connections that you have. If you have lowered them too much its like slow poster ! So make sure they are around 40-50 for a normal internet connection. If you have very low success rates try to adjust the connections and the timeout settings.

I forgot to add that you internet connection is a factor you should take into account. Install something like dumeter or use the bandwidth meter of the sb and watch how your connection behaves. If you have 512kbs or something, i would stronly suggest getting a windows vps !
