Can I overdo it with Trackback Links with Scrapebox?

Hey everyone.

I'm doing trackback links now, I have acquired an amazing autoapprove trackback list and also the scrapebox BlackBox plugin set for the trackbacks.

I'm running this list directly on my money page. I usually do not point scrapebox at my money pages at all, I just point SB at my link wheels, article submissions, and other backlinks.

This time it's a little different. I'm using 10 private proxies and blasting this list that is about 130,000 auto approve trackback sites.

Can I overdo it with trackbacks using this method? The site I'm blasting is a PR2 and has been around for about 18 months. The URL has been around for about 2-3 months and has plenty of other links of all kinds linking to it.

Should I stop this blast before it goes all the way? Or should I just let'r rip?

If the trackbacks are sticking, then it is a good thing!

The seller of that plugin (scrapebox BlackBox plugin) knows his stuff and can point you in the right direction!

Do you trackback provide good links? I'm not to familiar with how they work?

My personal opinion, would have been to combine the AA & non AA lists into one big list, randomize that list, split that new list into 50k URL chunks, and then use one or two of those lists each day or every couple of days.

While most people don't use non-AA comment lists (which I don't understand, as you're just throwing away links that you could have otherwise gotten), it makes even less sense to not use non-AA trackbacks, as TONS of blog owners approve moderated trackbacks sight unseen as they just assume they can't be fake.

Now, since you went ahead and just used the entire list all at once, I don't think you'll have any negative results. I mean, I've done that before to plenty of my sites and only saw improvement. Just don't "force index" the backlinks, let them be discovered naturally on their own.

Thank you for this info. I;'m about half way through the list right now, and it's set on randomize.

Do you know if it submits multiple trackbacks to the same URL if you run the same list again? I mean, if I stopped it now, split it into two, then ran those two parts later this week, would it hit the same sites more than once?

Agreed, I do large blast of trackbacks, some times upwards to around 100k at a time. I don't force index them I just let them sit until they are found. That usually works out OK as it does, in a way, look natural.

Yes, it will submit to the same site more than once. However, if SB submits one of the same URLs from your site to the same URL it has already submitted to before, it will be a failed submission. So, for instance:

First Run: SB submits this URL "http://yoursite.com/PageA" to this URL "http://victimsite.com/somepage" as a fake trackback. It works and you have a live backlink.

Second Run: SB submits this URL "http://yoursite.com/PageA" to that very same URL again, it is going to be a failed submission. However, if it submits "http://yoursite.com/PageB" to that very same URL again, it will again work and you'll have another live backlink.

Hope that makes sense.

The best way to avoid duplicate submissions, is to save successfully submitted URLs to one list, and then remove those URLs from the master list so you're only left with URLs you haven't yet submitted to...or to do what I said in my last post ahead of time.

It's a good list I got like 90,000 successes! Yikes!

Now I'm running the link checker to see how many are auto approve.

Hi, will this apply to new sites? I've started blasting with a 3-4 month old site, using 2 50k url chunks... Will it be safe to blast more?

Also, how about on fairly new sites, like a months or so?
