I just created a new blog, and I found a keyword, and when I checked top 10 competition myself, I saw all of their content is poorly optimized for on page SEO, and their content only is 200words max.

But their DA is 70 + and PA 40+ & mine 1

so can I outrank them with a 1000+words quality article?

or is there any other way to outrank them.

Yes you can. DA PA means nothing. Create 1k quality article, onpage optimized and Build high quality links along with it.

Article writing is not a problem. How many links do I need to create?

You have to write engaging 1k+ HQ content. Do on page SEO. Do internal linking. Then all you have to do is study your competitor's backlinks and try yo get these similar backlinks. Remember that always quality over quantity. Get back links from HQ blogs related to your niche.

According to SEMrush rank 1 has 9 backlinks from 3refering domains

But his DA & PA is 77,43 So how many backlinks I need to rank

And one more question i have 0 backlinks to my homepage so should i target backlink towards homepage or my post

Depends on your keywords competition and your top 10 competitors.

There's no exact answer to the amount of backlinks you need. It depends on many factors like how strong your link is, the quality, etc. You can start building quality links (referring domains) more than what you're competitors built, then see how the serp movement going. From there you can add more in the long run.

I'd suggest you to build links to homepage first, then the post you are targeting. Usually I don't bother to rank inner pages as they will get rank themselves since the root domain has a great established links.

Just starting the whole SEO thing so will start adding 5-10 pillar pages and build on top of that. For my case it is a reals estate website, so I guess will have to create articles under blog or separate category.
