can i outrank this sites?

Hi BHtr's, i have a keyword that i want to rank for in google but i don't know if i could outrank this sites (the 1st site is About.com) the 3 top positions have so many page backlinks but in the same time no one in the top 10 have exact match keyword in domain name or url as you will see in the image below:


please let me know if i can outrank this sites like About.com can i use squidoo or hubpages to do that because they are also authority sites? or i should give up from now?
