Can I monetize this YouTube video?

I'm uploading a video about some rocks I've collected. Its going to be a PowerPoint presentationize but I need to use some images from google. Can I monetize the video if I include some pictures from google (with references )?

It will depend on the licensing for the pictures. Some clearly state not for commercial purposes. You could try to message the photographer and ask them if it would be ok.

I wouldnt imagine that you would be able too tbh i did a similar thing with different videos, some youtube allowed me to monetise but most i couldnt. Trying what tkirk said aint a bad idea. Suppose you could do your video and see what happens, if you cant monetise it just delete it and try something different maybe.
