can i make any money doing this

basically i would buy a nice domain lets say for example casinosearch.com then i will build something relevant so in this case an app that search for nearby casinos in a given area, then i'll try to sell the website, now the website won't be earning any profits of course at this point but it will work automatically, it doesn't need any technical knowledge from the buyer, all it needs is good marketing and some time
so, is there any chance this would actually work? and if yes what would be a reasonable price to sell a website that doesn't yet generate any profits ?

I think that's the easy part. Hard is to market it and profit from it. But yeah, you can find a sucker on flippa that will buy, probably 29 to 99 USD per website.
