Hi,
Ebay no longer allows me to sell in one category, but this is where I make my money. So I had a trusted friend sign up for ebay using all her information and I am back selling on ebay. Of course it will take me a bit of time before they remove their selling limits but that is another story. I want to access 'my' (new) ebay account from my house. I cleaned out my cookies, including flash cookies and have a new internet modem. My internet does have a different ip address then from before the new modem according to whatismyipaddress' website. I thing my (all) computer has a 2nd ip address and am concerned that ebay will detect me this way. I was wondering if I did everything correctly or not.

I am very new to the whole "stealth" eBay account thing, and i have not actually started using my own. However, i have been doing a ton of research on the subject in preparation for my own account. Everything you have done SHOULD be enough, but i would also recommend using the eBay account on a separate windows account. Like when you boot up your computer and you select an account to log in to, choose a different user account then the one you used with your last account. Even though you switched your IP, i would also consider researching a good VPN/VPS service. Not sure if this is necessary or not, but it may be safe just to research.

As other users have suggestion, aspkin has some excellent resources for this. I always play the safe card, especially if this is your last shot with a legit eBay account.

Hopefully this helps, and hopefully i didn't mis-lead you with my information. Good luck!

I have multiple stealth accounts. To be on the safe side I would just make a new "user account" on your computer and access eBay on that. That way you KNOW it is completely clean. As long as you have a new IP you will be in the clear!

Also, instead of using your friends info just open a new checking account and make a stealth account with new user info on eBay/PayPal. That way you will not have to rely on someone else.
