Can I just rip posts from another forum..

I just started a forum for my site and it's obviously empty. I've come across software that will pull posts from google answers but that's not really what I'm looking for.

I want to rip posts from a few forums in particular just to make it look like there's some active discussion going on to entice people to create an account. Is there any way to automate this process?

I cant remember where it is, just look around for it, but there is a site that creates fake content for forums to make them look popular.

Also not 100% sure but i think xrumer does this.

I use to have forum generator from blackhatzen, and you would upload the script to your host then it would pull answers from yahoo or you could put in a certain URL for it to crawl. Then it would find the topics, and it would "borrow" them but I don't know if that software is still around...
