Can i interlink my money sites?

Here is what i am thinking of doing:

I have a number of ecommerce websites.

In the footer of each store i want to put a "powered by company" and link to the company website.

So all of the stores will be linking to the company website.

Then on the company website i will have a showcase page which will show all of the stores and also link to them.

Is this a bad idea? My main reason for wanting to do this is to spread some link juice around from my older stores onto my fresher stores and by all stores linking to the company website it should boost it up, therefore boosting all of the stores right?

Im lost, what do you think i should do?

I would be careful with that. If they all are on the same IP, then the answer is definitely NO.

If they aren't, and your sites don't have many site wide links, then you should get some kind of boost from it.

I wouldn't do any reciprocal linking, just one way links with those sites to spread the link juice around.

Google filters out reciprocal links.

Shoudn't be a problem, but it will get an problem if you just have these links and an lot of them.
 
The only problem with that is when one site goes down because of manual review, the rest will fall as well.
 
personally, I would not do that, the risks far outweight the benefits. (ie: get all your sites penalized)

HOWEVER, if you want to benefit from a link network, just build your own blog network and then you can use it only for your own projects.
 
I've personally seen this work. A friend of mine was trying to rank for acne scar keywords. The guy (competitor) in the top spot for most of the keywords were interlinking two sites.
One site is acne scars and the other is acne. Both sites seem to be getting massive amounts of juice because of it.

So my friend got pissed off because he doesn't know how to beat them so he just reported the sites to google. Two days later, both sites were gone from the serps. All keywords. Poor guy.

Your friend is a biatch, why would he ruin someones income like that :(

I doubt the interlinking was the issue. More than likely the sites had plenty of blackhat links that did not pass the review.

Your friend is a major asshole. Hopefully, "if" and "when" he ranks for anything, he gets reviewed and kicked in the balls. Karma is a bitch.
 
I looked at many interlinked networks and it seems like as long as they don't compete for the same keyword Google lets it go. I have a friend who's running 3 network with about 200 sites total (no two sites compete for the same network) and so far the system's been good to him.
 
It is a good idea to interlink your sites to get them high PR.
