Dear BHW members,
I am new to ClickBank. It has good products with good % but I could not find any specification on promotion restrictions.

Can I incentivise Clickbank product promotion?

Already Clickbank users please guide.

Thanks in advance.

i think yes, don't know for sure

incentive restriction usually only applies on something like email submits, zip submits or surveys

you always can say, i'll give you xyz if you buy this product from me

If you have been around long enough to get on a few (or more) of the "guru's" mailing lists, this is exactly what they are doing for every major product launch that goes on (most of which are CB products)...

Typical headlines - "Buy from me and get my $20,000 bonus..."
"Don't buy xxxxxx until you see my bonus package!"

Since CB products are sold on commission, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to incentive it. Money is money and a sale is a sale regardless of how you got it, so I don't think they will care. The real problem comes when your dealing with a CPA network that you are getting people to submit their information for free or filling out surveys, since they only make money if some makes a purchase and technically they might be paying for you for traffic that won't convert to sales. Hope that helps.

I think it's ok, but your refund rate might be very big.

Thanks for all the answers.
But is there any chance that CB will ban me?

cb might have an issue if your refund rate is unnaturally high. you'd also have to have a pretty damn big incentive to get someone to buy a cb product just for the incentive...

You can do this but exactly how you looking to collectivized it? What you gonna give buyers in return? Some refund of their money? or any gift vouchers? This is tough ask.

OK - I was planning to give them some extra discount if they buy from me.

But it seems to be tougher with CB because of their Return Policy - it's 60 days - no questions asked. So there are very high possibilities of loosing money.

I did this calculation :mod: :
If I promote a product of say $100 with 75% commission (i.e. say $75 per sale) and I offer extra 30% discount (i.e. $30) if anyone buy from my link. So my profit should be $75-$30=$45.

If the buyer returns the product HE benefits $30 ($100 return + $30 fro me) and get nothing but pay him $30.
---------------
Very bad idea of incentivising CB products..... I can't believe it came to my dirty mind ....lol :(

Any better idea friends?

Don't incentive with cash back. Against clickbank TOS. But you could offer a bonus guide or service for buying thru your link

If you do offer incentives, realize that clickbank has a 60 day refund policy, consider only giving the incentive after that period has passed.

Yep, that's the problem with CB - 60 days is too much.
Think, if anyone purchase an eBook on weight loss, he/she will apply all the weight loosing tricks for 60 days. Till then they'll become an expert of those tricks and so they'll not require that book and will ask for refund......unbelievable!!!:o

I think CB is loosing advertisers' confidence to get customers confidence. If things go in that way CB will loose it's reputation .... what do you say?
Though it's my personal view - dunno what's inside!:cowboy:
