I want to get Facebook blue tick on my profile, but my documents carries 3 names and I only want to use 2 on my Facebook profile excluding the middle name,

Will Facebook accept this? Can I get verified ?

Facebook typically requires that the name on your profile matches the name on your official ID for verification. If your documents include three names, but you only want to use two on Facebook, it might cause an issue during the verification process. However, if the two names you want to use are clearly linked to your identity and you can provide supporting documents, it could be worth trying to apply for verification. Just make sure the name you choose is consistent with how you're known and recognized publicly. It's best to follow Facebook's guidelines closely to avoid any issues with verification!

The profile name must match the name on the documents for best confirmation

Yes, Facebook is verifying many details, not just the middle name, so it’s fine.

I think yes you can, facebook gets a lot easier than before now.

Can be verified normally, you need your name to appear on the correct profile.

Of course, if the full name matches the ID, the verification will be successful.
However, Facebook has an edit section and you can leave the name you want to display (as long as your name is clear and not easily confused). Facebook may ask you to provide your real name (matching your birth name, ID) to secure your account.
This shows that: if you do not want to display the full 3-letter name, just fill in 2 letters: your first name and last name.

FB's name policy is strict, so if your docs got 3 names but your profile only has 2, it might be an issue for blue tick. Best bet-try submitting as is, but if they reject, you might need to match your profile name exactly with your official docs.

Does it depend on location? My middle name isn't on there but I vaguely recall an associate from Asia saying that was required when we were talking about verifications (price difference, etc).

You can absolutely do that, it's okay.
Unless your name violates Facebook's guidelines or the law, any name you declare without the middle name is OK.

Verifying your blue checkmark on Facebook requires that the name on your Facebook profile matches the name on your ID. Facebook requires users to use their real names on their profiles. This helps ensure authenticity and avoids confusion.

yes but having the green seal will cost you monthly, it is a fee that must be paid

Facebook is now much easier to use than before, the profile name must match the name on the document for the fastest confirmation, and Facebook is verifying a lot of details, not just the middle name, so that's okay.

you should only have three words in your name, middle name and last name, you should not have 2 names, your application will be denied for blue tick, it will take time and be more strict

Yeah, Facebook has loosened up a bit, but it's still best to align your name as closely as possible with your official documents. If you’re only removing a middle name, it might go through, but if the change is more drastic, they could flag it.
