If you are talking about the guy on facebook, of course you should not take him seriously. You and your buddy want the video down and one of you owns it? So you are 100% in the right and you have NOTHING to worry about. Now move on or I'll walk into Google's office to tell them to fill your e-mail with spam! I know your e-mail address and if you don't open the spam you get, I'll sue you for discrimination! You'll do at least a month for each unopened email! :p My threats are as credible as the guy's so you should be doubly worried right now.

The question is rarely whether or not you can get sued but rather whether or not you would lose an eventual lawsuit.
Anyway, the way you described the case makes it sound like the guy is full of shit so I wouldn't worry too much. However, I would make a habit of consulting with your friends first before you start filing legal claims in their name. JUst a piece of advise.
 
New quick update
He just sent me this :

Hey Pal, i didn't hear from you since yesterday. We had a phone call with Facebook Europe. according to their brief investigation the outcome are huge. They asked us to contact them via our lawyer, however once we send this letter the consequences are huge, and accounts will be deleted. The report is still on, and our page rank dropped drastically. You did not contact me back. So at this point I understand you do not have a plan how to continue, let me know if i am wrong.

I thought we established that this guy is a liar and everything he's telling you is a lie.

If we haven't, let me tell you now: he's a liar. Everything he is telling you is a lie.

He's trying to intimidate you. Don't fall for it. Just ignore him.

I'll tell you what will probably happen next though: he'll probably try to have someone draft an email or a message from a "lawyer" or from "Facebook" and send it to you. If he does, post it here so we can all laugh at it.

I wish I can know that he is lying for sure then I would be calm... but it's just how I am. I always over react and get so frustrated about some things(even small ones)..
Bit anyway I'll keep this thread updated and hope for the best

Again a quick update the first message was from me that last one was from him.
If he REALLY contacted facebook europe(idk where he found their number) why can't he tell them to remove the copyright because I would also like to remove the copyright just to get rid off him already
 
Looking back at the previous messages you received from him I really doubt he REALLY contacted FB :)

Why don't you just block him and be done with it? Honestly his lies aren't funny anymore. They're pathetic, and he's pathetic to go through all of these lies and bullying tactics over a video.

Glad I don't deal with social media.
