Can i get some constructive criticism about my site please?

any suggestion on waht to make that background be?
i could make it classic bodybuilding pictures in black and white. i wasnt sure what to do with that background
cool will do.
what about adsense placement. i dont get any adsense clicks which really sucks
any advice?if you click any of the articles, i put it at the top and the bottom. some people say try changing the colors so the adsense looks like regular stuff in it
thank you for the input i will give that a try. i was thinking of getting rid of that section with all that junk like "RECENT TAG CLOUD POPULAR"
What i really want to add is a SIGN UP FOR NEWSLETTER and the ENTER YOUR NAME AND EMAIL TO DOWNLOAD THE FREE EBOOK on the front page to gather email addresses to market to.
what do you think of that?
still that is pretty awesome! what are you using for email management of all that?
Site & graphics look good but personally I would tune the red down a little so it doesn't grab your attention so much and distract from the text. I also agree with an earlier comment that I'd change and play around with the blue circles background image.

I actually kinda like that red. I think it doesn't gel with that dark-blue cheese-grater BG.
I'm not an artist, except by the stretch of my own imagination, but what about a color
backdrop from the 70's of Venice Beach in all its glory? Or a collage of workout notes
from actual bodybuilders? I also think a gold tone, like a bunch of bodybuilding trophies
from all of the major competitions or w/e, would work well as a background. Few ideas.
Also, it kind of seems 'unfinished' or at least containing filler with the News Highlights being
basically the exact same as the Latest News section on the same page. Can you add
dif content for News Highlights or perhaps connect it to a Twitter, FB, YT, etc. feed...?
I don't know, something that wouldn't require much maintenance--unless you're actually
planning on monitoring this baby closely. Then I'd go with either all unique content and/or
a mixture of auto+unique-content. "National", AP-style up-to-date articles can give your
site a bit more of a trusted, unbiased feel to it as opposed to just tooting the horn of
another new weightlifting/bodybuilding site <== generalization here, not yours of course

thanks for the great feedback. i know what you mean. that news highlights area i am going to change to an INTERVIEW HIGHLIGHTs. I am going to start doing interviews with fitness and bodybuilding people. i can choose whcih ones go there.
the one thing i DONT LIKE is that slider i have. Im using VSlider. I wish i had one that would grab an article's title and have it at the bottom with a picture displayed. but i cant find any good ones. i will definitely switch of the news highlights at some point.
i think im gonna change the color scheme in css to make it blue. blue is the most chosen color to be people's favs and it is calming on the eyes. i dont want people visiting my page like they got fired out of a canon. ill prob change that background to some greyscale image or something.
IDEALLY id like to sell the background space as a paid advertising area. ie if i get enough traffic ill be like your add every single page in my blog for x dollars this month.
any other suggestions? so far i did most of the site myself.

i agree if something sucks i want to know and so i can fix it. this is my first site and i want it to be good and i want to hvae fun with it as well as make it good.

, I would put up some interviews thathave already been conducted for the time-being.
I'm sure you could find--and appropriately credit of course--some
Ronnie Coleman or Ahnold (video) interviews that could fit the bill....

"Can't you iFrame something like that?" in reference to your outbound 'referral ID'
link to bodybuildingDOTcom (Top 50 Supplements), etc.
One last note to/for the above: I would change it to - "Top 50 Most Popular Supplements Ever" or something like that.

nice great advice. well the funny thing is, i got a few people already who want to do interviews

Everyone loves free publicity so i can grab some that way.Top 50 MOST POPULAR Supplements EVER lol sounds like something out of the Don Lupre book, the worlds most amazing vitamin.... i like that idea. I am definitely going to try to improve my adsense. I would add it to the the "add comment" on front page but I am not sure because each post woudl have adsense and i think you are limited to 3 adsense per page? If i am incorrect please inform me.
