i just bought a page with 700k fans, but it doesn't have publishing rights, can i get them back somehow?

I'm really sorry to say this, but I think you have just wasted your money... or at least you will not get quite the same ROI (in short term) as you expected.

You can still edit the FBML etc, which means that you can still monetize new members by directing them to a CPA offer or something... (or even suggest for them to become fans of other pages you own.)

yeah i got it for cheap, i knew it didnt have pub rights, but the seller told me you could still mass message. just wondering if its possible to contact facebook and get them back somehow, its just a generic page.

as long as you can mass message then you can at least mass message to invite to other pages you have. Make a good enough message and maybe you can build some fans fast on the new pages. I think the best chance of marketing on facebook is while making the friends. If you have a page that goes from 0 - 100k..200k...etc. all those people are checking the page when they add it. If you have a page with 700k friends they've already gone to the page. I'd bet that you aren't going to get 100k visits back to the page from those 700k. Most of them might not be going back to the page much if ever.

how can you mass message?
i have an old facebook fan page that now has over 100k users but i see nothing about sending an update or messaging.

would love to know thanks

To mass message -

Go to your page > Click 'Edit Page' underneath the profile picture > Click '
Send an update to fans (just under 'Promote your page' on the right hand side')

Thats only available when you have publishing rights
