Can I get banned for this?

Why spend 10$ for 17.000 (probably proxy visits) and 20 responses when you can get some beers for yourself and chat with some really interested people who will share (if it's good) with some other interested people and get much much more from this (probably more to win) ?

When is the last time you spent $10 and got anything worth it. $10 doesn't even buy $9 bucks these days. As to getting banned. If it were that easy to get people banned i would pay the money for all my competitors sites, get them all banned, and then I would be #1 for everything.

If they get banned, enigma solved. If they keep bumping, I can assume they started making money.
I'm still trying to figure that out... I thought maybe I was missing something. I realize that I just thought way to hard on the subject.
Maybe it shows that people are interested. But my confusion is this: if 17,000 people have viewed your product and 20 people are willing to reply, does it speak volumes for your product?
I'm guessing not.
I can tell you why. Many people prefer to keep quiet on the web.
Most of the content posted around is produced by a very tiny minority of active users, the rest are just "lurkers".
