Can I get banned by amazon putting only images and amazon affiliate links on a page with no written content about the items? My traffic doesn't come from seo so it's a waste of time for me writing content. Anyone know?

It is against TOS.

- Lack of content which is original to your site and beneficial to your visitors
- Pages that are mainly empty when advertisement content is removed

As Neolight quite rightly says it is against their TOS, you will get banned. anyway do you think people will bother, it shouts " I can't be arsed " so why would people who are looking for guidance for a product bother.
Make an effort - if you can't be bothered then you are in the wrong industry, believe me it takes a lot of work

Yes, but I review the products in video format, what if I only put youtube videos for reviews?

Since your just gonna debate what people are saying on here, why don't u just email Amazon and ask them yourself. Then there will be no debate. You probably would of had your answer already.

I have a video site that was approved by Amazon, but i have video and text. As icomaki said just ask them

It will not be a problem to you, if you can add at least, 200 to 400 words per post. It is better to stay under the radar. Not wait until you get banned and cry fowl.

The safest thing to do is just be direct and ask them.

Being doubtful won't help you and if you get banned you'll regret it for sure.
