Hi. I own a domain that direct links to an evergreen affiliate offer that gets a ton of targeted traffic. It has has 7100 visitors the last 30 days with earnings the last 30 days of well over $1000. What could I sell this domain for? Is it possible to get 20k for this, seeing the potential for the buyer to start building his own list? Maybe I should do the same. I have thought about it. Anyways Id love some of your input. I love the money this domain makes, but i know it can be so much more. a cash cow..

Well first see if there is any interest but i think 20k is a little to much.

Well thats just earnings for the past 2 months. This domain has earned a steady income for me for years, I just feel with the traffic levels I should be earning much more. Yes, I love the steady money, but I'm sure much more than be done with this.

Do you mean you have earned $6500 so far this year? Or is that how much you earn each year?
Either way your asking for to much.
If say your earning $13k a year from it, why would someone give you $20k? Usually people pay 6-12 months worth of the profits created by the businesses, but it really depends on so many factors. That's just my 2 cents anyway I might be wrong.

I have earned $6500 this year, and the past few years I had the domain, much more than that. The reason (I feel) it could possibly get 20k, and I'm no expert, is because of the POTENTIAL of the site (which is probably why I will keep it since I dont know how to sell websites.) I am ONLY direct linking to an affiliate product, in an evergreen market. The pontential for building a list is amazing(which we all know "the money is in the list", with 7100 visitors just in the past 30 days alone! (which I was even in shock when I saw those stats). Anyway, I don't know what I could get for it, thats why I asked. Thanks for the replies!

I'm not sure if I understand... with only 7000 visitors per month you are making more than $1000. Why would you want to sell it if it's a pretty good source of income? Don't you expect it to continue like this over the years?
You need to stop direct linking to the offer and setup a landing page with a email capture form.
Get a cheap eBook written on the niches topic and and give it away for free with the email capture. That way the customers that want to buy will buy and you will still get your .... and also the tire kickers will probably give up their email for a free ebook. Start a auto responder series with the emails you have captured.
Make real money from the site and you should have no problem selling it for 20K!

yes I expect it to continue and I love the easy income. I would like to have a lump some of money for a specific reason, but I doubt I would really ever give the domain up. I am just flirting with the idea really.
yes thats what I know I can do with this site. But honestly, I just don't know how to do it. The traffic is all VERY targeted and If I could just setup my own LP, give away a free item, setup some emails.. PROMOTING THE SAME OFFER I AM NOW, andd other offers as well! and maybe even renting my list to others! The possibilities are endless!. But.. I just don't know how....

based on this entire thread you could get about 5000-6000$ range for a quick sell or about 9000$ to the right buyer. You can't sell point on "potential" as any website you register as potential. You need to sell it on existing revenue and after the exchange it is up to the buyer to get the potential and run with it.
Honestly you are better off scaling it yourself by reading on free education or paying a trusted source to help you scale it. It is NOT worth 20,000 at all.
