Hey,

I just got all these threatening comments on my site from some dude in the last place I lived. Im planning to go back there at some point this month but would like to find out who this guy is so I know who to look out for. This is the 2nd weird thing this month that has happened and I can't think for the life of me why any one would be so angry at me.

Does anyone know a way I can trace the dudes IP and find out what address the comments came from? I have his IP.

Google IP locator, IP tracer, IP tracker. Should give some idea, but I'm not sure how you will find/get data from his ISP. You would need a badge before the ISP would give out details I think.

My advice - Forget it and make a move. Just make a million and you'll forget it ever happened.

Do you have his email? You could use facebook to find him if you do. You could also search his email/username in webmii.com, and narrow down who he is based on the location of his IP address.

If you do find out who he is (and you still feel sore about the whole thing), you could an assault claim with the police. You could take him to court if you want to. He'd probably end up paying for a lawyer.

meh, don't worry to much about where the guy is. just make sure your strapped when you go back to your old location so if he gets in your face your ready for him.

use Pipl.com all you need to track him down is one piece of info. phone number, username (on anything, I've even used xbox live to show my friends it can be done), name, email etc.

Cheers for all the suggestions guys, I found the place I think, I in the end wanted to do it out of interest to see if I could haha. ipinfodb.com gave me the longitude and lattidude so I used that. If it was accurate then the address is correct.

Im gonna take your guys word for it though I guess as my website etc gets more expossure then probably just need to get used to ignoring silly crap from weirdos.
