Can I do this??

Do AM's with affiliate companies care if I simply create a domain that forwards to their product sales page? So if I tell someone to go to xxx.mynewdomain.c0m and I have a redirect to xxx.myaffiliateoffer.c0m is that allowed? I know it's a noob question but I'd rather ask it here and catch hell from you experienced marketers than try it out and get one or all of my accounts banned.

OK let me clarify...can I do the redirect simply like I mentioned and not get in trouble for it? Or is there some other sort of coding or masking that needs to be done so I do not get banned from the affiliate networks?

Most probably wont care I would just simply contact their customer support and make sure it is within their policies.

Ive posted this here in a few places, but I ll go ahead and post it again.

The newest version of many browsers are now shipping out with Block 3rd Party Cookie automatically enabled. The majority of people will never go into their settings and change this back to Enable All Cookies.

This means that cookie stuff will not work. This also means that a forward/mask, which is the same as a iframe on a index page, will not load cookies and track your sale if the Block 3rd Party option is checked in your browser.

I have tested this out and i know for a FACT this is real for the new IE and the new Safari and I believe to be true for the new Opera but Im not sure on that. I know that Chrome and Firefox both have not done this yet and both have allow 3rd party cookies enable automatically........but that is right now. They might follow the other browsers in their next release.

Your safest bet it to just forward to the offer and not mask it.

Also, I can tell you that affiliate networks have encouraged me to do this...especially when you are doing ppc and it requires a legit URL.

To Bighustlah, I sometimes use that method of redirecting my domain and have never had a problem. I've even direct linked to an offer just to test a new method before building landing pages, blogs, etc. Never had an AM complain.

Right on...I understand that you are not cookie stuffing, but it is the same concept. Masking is actually an iframe index page which makes it appear that you are not being redirected. I recommend that you redirect without the masking if you want to capitalize on all traffic.

Nope, just to clarify, all I'm doing is creating a domain name, then going into cpanel and having that domain redirect to my affiliate offer sales page. so for instance the person goes to supercreditcards.c0m and it automatically redirects to my affiliate credit card signup offer page.
