Hello.

It takes two months to make my website.
But before that, I want to work on the backlink.
Can I make a rough version of the site with Wordpress and backlink it up, and move the domain when the actual site to be used is finished?

For your information, websites are its own solution, not wordpress.

Why not?
Of course you can put up a few pages and slowly build links and when the website is ready you just upload it and build more backlinks.

Don't do it- google will fire your site in no time.

Nop. Point the links to same domain you're planning to build a site.

Yes you can if you wanted to do so, but in all honesty I'd not do so, for a long term project.
Unless you're then going to redirect to your finished site, you're not doing anything other than seo testing.

What about ranking your site without the actual content in place?

If you search for Ranking for Lorem Ipsum, you'll see how Kyle Roof ranked sites with garbage content in place.
Is this still possible? Well let's say he did this last week for 3 brand new sites....

Thank you for all answers. I'll start working when the website's ready.

Yes, but you should have some thing on home page.
I did that for my website.
Since I do not have many contents, so at that time I just built backlinks to my home page.
