To create an X Community, your account must meet the following criteria:

* Have a verified phone number or email address linked to the account.
* Possess a clean track record.

Private Group Chats: Direct and Instantaneous Communication
For more direct and private conversations, any X user can create a group chat through the platform's Direct Message feature. Unlike Communities, there are no specific requirements regarding account age or a subscription to X Premium. This means that both new and aged accounts can create group chats.

Steps to Create a Group Chat:

* Go to your Direct Messages.
* Select the "New Message" icon.
* Enter the usernames of the individuals you wish to include in the chat.
* Compose and send your first message to initiate the group conversation.

Group chats on X are ideal for smaller, more personal discussions among
a select group of users.

Tap your profile, select "Groups", then hit create to start your group.
