Throwaway account for obvious reasons.

I'm 17 years old and in a comfortable financial position in my life where as because I still live with my parents, I have minimal expenses. I have a stable job and basically all of my income is profit.

This leads me to wonder... If I invest all of my income into established websites on Flippa, can I simply purchase a fleek of websites all already making money and set myself up for long term wealth? Obviously I do not plan on living with my parents forever, but I want to know if it's worth investing in online properties.

Oh we wish it was that easy, we'd all do it.

Definitely NOT! Don't throw all your money away.

90% of the stuff on Flippa is garbage and it's difficult to find the hidden gems. Read up a ton on website buying due-diligence before spending your money.

Buying an established site earning $1K/mo for $20K (assuming 20x) sounds okay until a few months down the road when that site isn't making nearly as much, due to competitors, Google penalties, etc.

If you have a ton of experience in this space and think you can grow an established site, then by all means go for it, but it doesn't sound like this is the case.

What he said is spot on....you need to do due diligence on anything you are going to buy to be sure you are going to recoup your investment at least.

There are many many guides out there about how to create a site, give the impression of good income, or artificially inflate income, visits, CTR etc to get a good sale price. The buyer is then left with a big pile of turd once the seller turns the tap off...

OP,

There's nothing wrong in buying a handful of quality sites and having those to bring in some income.
Depending on where in the world you are, property is another possibility to invest in.
Just spread your investments and don't keep all your eggs in one basket.

So the real money is in learning how to fabricate the income and sell a website for more than it's worth

Explore your options and choose the best one. Buying quality sites is great, but there could be better ways out there

I think you should start buying ethereum and other popular cryptocoins and store them until you turn 21.

I would buy today: Ok coin, Library Credits, SIA Coin, or any other coin with price less than $1. In a few years those coins "may" cost 500-600 dollars. Just saying.

Yeah but I don't even know where the fuck to start. You're referring to like bitcoin right?

All I can say is invest your money wisely! Think carefully on what you know and what will happen in the future.

Yes Bitcoin is a type of cryptocurrency (the most popular)....It can be a dangerous game if you do not have experience. Also bitcoin just surged so don't recommend buying right away..

Not bitcoin itself. Other coins "like" bitcoin that may suffer in the future the same increment from 10 dollars to 3000. If you buy coins now at $0.10 o $0.50 imagine they go to $100 in a few months.

You can check poloniex, bittrex and other sites for price information, charts, etc.

actually bitcoin is the less recommended to buy and store because of price fluctuation. Nowadays 1 BTC ranges from $2200 to $2600 and you could make tons of money buying low, selling high.
But not talking about bitcoin, there are other coins that are valued less than a dollar and they may increase value a lot. Safe investment? There's no such thing but cryptos are more likely to increase value in the future because paper-money has it's days counted already.

as everyone has said flippa is a place for alot of inflated garbage these days
where they hope less informed sellers will pay top $ for crap sites,
oh we all wish we bought bit coins at 20$ and saved them for a rainy day.

You can read methods that work and put loads more money into them to get load more profit.

Problam is , one thinng might work for them but dont for you .

I would try drop shipping and aliexspess Seem to work well .
