Hello everyone,

Take a look at this picture.

The site on the 4th place is mine.
My competitor is on the First 3 results.
Both the domain names are same except the tlds, Hes has org and im having info.

What do you guys think i should do to get on the first place for this keyword ?

Suggestions and help needed.

You should make more theme based backlinks... It seems you are making all backlinks to one page... some diversification needed for your link building campaign... Try rotating keyword and urls from your site... Explore your competitor's links and get links from there also... You should update your site more frequently... Just basic suggestions :) You already doing good just keep doing it.
 
get a higher page rank and ull prob whup his ass.
 
i would do an xrumer blast to 5000 of your bl's ---not to the man site itself but to some strategically chosen articles and web 2.0 properties or similar....either that or create another 20,000 links but i dont think you need to - just boost the pr of your current links with a solid xrumer blast.

Yes you can beat it. I honestly would do like was mentioned above and start working on linking some internal pages. It looks like your competition is the same site for the top 3 positions. They've become an authority on the subject. Now you need to become an authority on it by building up some internal links and having a good internal link structure that points to your main page.

I would also focus on setting up a good level of tier 1 sites pointing to your page and blast those with SB and other types of backlinks.
 
The first thing I noticed when looking at that is you should have your keyword in your <h1> tag.

I would also try to get a few relevant .edu backlinks.

You have 22,200 total backlinks and 22,100 of them are pointed at that one page? I would shoot some links at the other 300 some pages that you have. Also, I would add more content. You don't have near as many pages as the other site. I am assuming that there is only one site above you that has 3 pages indexed and ranking for that keyword?

Last and not least, be patient. I wish along with probably everybody else here, that G would update their stuff faster, but they don't.

more quality links. Point to your inner pages, vary your main anchor text. Thats it.
 
try to search more relevant and high pr backlink, also rotate your backlinks and keyword, don't just strict to use one url and one keyword, but you may create some percentage scheme like:

main keyword backlinks: 40%
sub keyword backlinks: 60%

also do not use your domain url but use your post url, it can help you increase your visitor from your post url / sub keyword, IMHO.

I Would start the process over again for each page your are building BL for.

For example:

Anchor Text: Subkeyword

And then rank that subkeyword the same way (follow the same link building steps) you ranked your mainkeyword
