I want to outsource, however I am concerned that the third-world countries I am hiring from are using non-genuine copies of Photoshop. Would this in anyway effect my business if I they were ever caught?
Can I be accountable for outsourced piracy?

Almost every image has metadata attached to it, which contains information the author chooses to put there. For example the camera it was shot with, the name of the author, the name of the software, etc..
Hence, if you see the following in the image metadata:

If they send you invoices and you pay them, its not your problem if they should use pirated software for their work.
If they get caught, are you responsible because you used their service ? Nope, you are just using a service and paying for it. Its their responsibility to get their licenses in order.
