Can Google penalize Unreadable content?

As I want to spin a lot of articles and get them indexed in Google, but unreadable content can increase link juice and get indexed by Google without any problem?

By unreadable I assume you mean poorly written? If that is what you are referring to, then yes the site will get penalized. It isn't really clear on how exactly they detect that content has been reorganized by a software program but it is typically easily spotted by users.

Chances are it may get indexed but if its really bad it will eventually be pushed down in the rankings or not appear at all.

It is not possible for a bot to recognize if a text is well written or not, I talked about that with my prof of Text Technology and it is nearly impossible(with the progress of what we have now) to code a bot which diferentiate if a text is good or bad
 
Bots don't determine content by literally reading it so they won't see if it is poorly written or if there are errors in grammar and spelling.

sure, but still google is able to tell if your content is good or not.
I believe that it considers various factors, starting from bounce rate, plagiarism, images, html tags...
In my experience it cannot tell if the text is spun, but it can distinguish between a good text and a bad one. And if you're article is really bad it will not index it.
 
I dont think google can build such sophisticated bot in coming 3-5 years atleast
 
Well it's hard for a bot to detect such activity. In this case they would be even more mistaken penalties.
 
Spun Content works so long as it doesn't look like a complete mess, but then again I've ranked sites using totally BS content. Google likes to pretend they are better at catching spammers than they really are.
 
There's a difference between poorly spun unreadable content and artfully crafted unreadable content ;) . Hint: Google doesn't "read" like humans.
 
Probably not. Just make sure that you avoid keyword spamming. By the way. Matthew Woodward has a great tutorial on here about content spinning. Check it out if you haven't already viewed it.
 
I don't think they have an automated means to detect poorly written or unreadable content. What will ding you however is when a user hits your site they see crap and poor content and then bounce which hurts your ranking.

your professor needs to study more then

google has a very powerful translation tool
this means they have software capable of parsing part of speech and grammar
they also have a lot of money and time invested in semantic indexing, and they have patents on it as well, these patents cover boiling down text to a set of concepts
which means they can do things like checking concept content and concept ordering
also, one other thing that effects how well your posts rank is their flesch-kincaid score
 
A bot can not check for for crappy content,they do not have a good enough algo for that "yet".
However if you get a manual review then they can penalize your site.
 
lol their "powerful" translation tool usually translates text with crappier grammar than most of the spinned shit you can find

I've got ten thousands of posts indexed which were nearly unreadable. I recommend adding "on page" factors that will increase the attractivity of your site - add random pictures to every post, embed youtube video, add random formatting to the text etc and I guarantee google will regard your content as of higher value than some plain text new york times level article :D
 
It is usual to see sites ranking with just complete gibberish. Text doesn't make any sense at all but it ranks. One guy has been ranking like this for 5 years.

Lately, I saw somebody ranking where he had replaced every vowel with 0 - no just o but all vowels. He was ranking page 1.
