can google detect ai content?

obviously not bc ai writing has been a thing for years now

but with chatgpt, and gpt-4 on the way,

what does that mean for the writing services?

and other ai competitors?

and SEO?
You won't be the only one generating content with ai. Chances are there are some thinking of the same for the same topic which means... Similar content generated and raise flag for duplicates.

Besides, chatgpt not good at generating creative content. Try tell it to write a poem or something and you'll know.

Google does not currently detect AI content, but it is researching how to detect AI-generated content in the future. Google's AI Content Detection project is working on developing algorithms that can identify AI-generated content and help Google better understand it.

there's a thread by @Sartre on AI content, check it. I think he mentions there that it is hard for google to detect ai content. but check it again, please.

That's why AI + manual touch is the key. Let AI write the bulk and then come in and remove the AI red flags, correct any random hallucinations, and add or remove a couple of sentences here and there. Speeds up article writing so much and no manual reviewer is going to ding you for them.

That's the way. Impossible to detect.

For sure some major content farms were using this for a long time before it became public. Several large sites come to mind.

They are not detecting AI. Spending money on this would be an Elon-Musk-level move. I don't think you guys realize how expensive it would be to analyze every web page if it's AI.

Google never said AI is bad. Actually, one of their employees said a few days ago that AI is fine.

Automatically generated content that doesn't benefit the user is NOT FINE. That's it.

They will be surely working on it but it will take lot of time. You can use AI content till then and make good money. If you have not explored AI writers, you need to search more about them.
