Hello, a simple question

Adding the code of GA on the website : can it make rankings move down for a site which have medium bounce rate ?

GA just shows you how google is running in the background - it's not like they can't read the data without you installing GA lol

Google is powerful enough to give preferential treatment to the people who use their software. You’ll often find the same people making similar claims about other Google services. “If you use Google AdSense, your ranking will go up.” “If you’re using a Gmail address tied to your site for Google Drive, Google might bump up your site ranking.” “Using YouTube, a Google company, will boost your search rankings. so no worries

Nope it’s for analytics. It’s a tool to help analyse your website.

google analytics is only for analyzing websites and it does not give rank

i removed google analytics about 9 month ago because of speed issues. do have google code for search console. not having google analytics will not hurt you in ranking. I am ranked at the top for my keywords.

Analytics will neither boost nor drop the search engine rankings. It is just there for you to analyze the information and actually is quite helpful and free too. It may have minor effect on speed but that is not something to be worry about.

using Google Analytics does not affect any sort of ranking.GA is the tool used to analyse the website ,you deal with the data there.

if this was 1% true, don't you think google would have been sued to the moon by now! google cannot and will not give special treatments in ranking if you use their services. google would not be google, if they were dong this. Their internal legal department is all over this. please stop posting BS.

do a very simple test: search for DUI New York. top search result: http://www.attorneys.com/dui-dwi/new-york/penalties no google codes in source code. so a link to their google plus profile. In fact, i can bet you in very difficult niches, people stay away from google services, so that google dont figure out what is going on. again, stop the BS please.

Already Google's John Mueller - Webmaster Specialist official confirmed on https://twitter.com/JohnMu/status/1012320567381422081. Google Analytics snippet in your website code doesn't rank a website any better or worse. Below I have mentioned his tweet for your reference.

It is just a tool to help you get more insight on the site performance. It's doesnt rise or bring down the site metrics.

You can use Google Analytics, you can not use Google Analytics, it won't affect your ranking within Google search results.

To the extent that a site owner can use the information its Google Analytics account provides to better optimize the content and architecture of a site, yes, there should be some positive impact on rankings over time. That said, simply signing up for a Google Analytics account and tagging pages within a site will do nothing to impact rankings one way or the other.
