Can google algorithm detect ranking check tools?

Hi,
Lately I'm obsessed with a customer who lost his ranking. Then after weeks working to reverse the situation while checking obsessively the ranking I figured out wouldn't be hard for a Google developer to detect searches, from the same web proxies or source, which stop in X page.

For example, I got out the top 100, then when I check back I'm the second page, then again out the top 100, then in page fourth, then again out the top 100 and back to page 15, etc.

Wouldn't it be a way for Google to know search instances are being run with X keywords and, independently of the website ranking, the search engines always stop running when finding the website whose ranking I'm checking.

So if my site is www.domain.com Google can change it's location many times, and everytime I check the ranking with X keywords the search will stop at www.domain.com.

Maybe it is something already known in SEO, someone knows about it?

Yes i experienced the same, also you will see before penalizing, they will slightly improve the ranking. as per my view,

Your site ranks at #47 , rank tracker tracks till 5th page,
Now, google will slightly improve rank to upper page let, #39. (only your website will be moved).
next time rank tracker will track till 4th page.

the google can detect "x page jumped from page 5 to page 4" . as your site is the only site who jumped - you caught.

and this is not for 1 search or 2 , rank tracker no of times checks this, so it will be easier for google to analyse.

i dont use rank tracker much, just added 2 sites of my 15 sites, the 2 got penalized in similar pattern, will attach screenshot if i will find.
may be i set my tracker aggressively to track in every 2 hr (more data to catch)

also these rank tracker have same ip, location, header and many footprints.


What i am doing now?

search manually, and even if i find my site in X page, i navigate to more pages just as normal user.

you also have competitors, who could search for the same keywords. So it should be hard for Google to determine the searches to you.

Edit: Thats why I alway search until the same page (i.e. to page 10)

You have a good point, if others do the same they can't detect it. But That's the only explanation I get for such jumping (jumping in Eng is ok to say it?), or dancing. And check at @thunderhd 's experience when he set aggressive rank checker.
When you say now u search until the same page, you do it manually or you have a rank checker in which you can set to keep searching?, do you know if Moz's checker works in this way?

Serposcope from Serphacker is doing it this way, its an open source project (github). Just install it on your VPS
It always searches until the same page, i.e. until page 10, as you define in the setup

Thank you man, do you know a web tool for this?, if not Ill use what you recommended.

No, I don't know. I run it on my VPS with a handful private proxys.
