Just think if your website gain some traction and somehow those free theme breaks your site. So always use a licensed theme. I would also not recommend to patched theme. These are more harmful than free one.

Unless you are talking about nulled themes, those that are paid and there are shady websites putting malware on them and offering it for free

most of the time it helps. create a blog page on your website with common questions regarding your buisness and upload some content writing articles. keep in mind that ai generated text can be identified by google so you have to create a good prompt before generating or start writing the articles on your own.
