Can FB detect paid likes and comments?

I think they can detect them when they're not natural because of the frequency. If a post gets thousands of likes in a short period of time and then nothing.

Lol of course Facebook is capable of detecting paid likes and comments. But if you do it tastefully, like anything else you can slip through the cracks.
 
If the likes and comments came at the same time yes they do
 
I know they can. The question here is whether are imposing penalties if they catch some account rev up post reach by using paid likes/comments/share.
 
From what I can gather, Facebook has a lot of methods to determine if the interactions are not “genuine”. Things like phrases, frequency of the activities, the accounts, as well as proxies are just some of the factors their algo goes about this. Not to mention all the other systems or methods they’ve made over the years since, like another commenter pointed out, Facebook is pretty big. Has been for a while now. They’ve had strategies to cover for this in bulk.
The answer is pretty much yes.

Probably yes, but even if it can, so what? If they really would punish you or do you anything with it then your competition intentionally pumping you fakes would be enough to fuck up your competition, which Facebook is aware of so they are not punishing anyone, its all crap when someone tells you are being punished for fakes.

Yes, Facebook sees if a like is being screwed up. 1. Sharp activity 2. No organic traffic
 
In fact, the best strategy to avoid being banned is to ask people you see on the road to like and comment on that post, I think anyone can do this, it takes a few seconds after all. :D
 
still there but not as tight as other cases, this type is considered very gentle
