Fake traffic could help unless you got caught by the rank provider. Then all your ranking will be lost.

Drip feed the traffic, and make sure the bounce rate is not 100%, you should be ok.

Absolutely not. Only traffic that enteres your site via the SERPs is able to be tracked and analyzed by google. This will help your alexa ranking, but it will not help your ranking.

Exactly, it only mostly helps alexa rankings.... that's about it!
