I sit a lot on pc and drink lot of coffee. Question, is pc or coffee the culprit? I was pc addict since jid but never felt such discomfort. It's not huge pain, but its meh feeling

maybe it's because of aging :D anw I think you should take a break every 30 mins.

Having the same issue its a strain on the eyes you can youtube videos to help

It is more of the blue gamma that the screen produce, coffee increase your pc usage time and so does the gamma exposure

Combination of both.. Coffee pushing blood into your tiny vessels disturbing your nerves.. And obvious radiation from the screen.. My suggestion is take more breaks and drink more water in between coffees. That's what helps me with constant dry eyes symptom... Especially here in Vegas

Coffee dehydrates. Also blue light. Use flux and blue glasses and drink more water where you owe often. Get sunlight everyday. Don't work in dark rooms. All that and your eyes will be fine.

Hi,
Relax your eyes frequently by looking away from screen or go out and look at nature, and also cover your eyes with your palm for couple of seconds and for sure as suggested by other members drink lot of water.
Also take help of eye doctor get your eye tested and wear anti-glare glasses.

You know what? Go out and consult a doctor. Don't do stupid things with your eyes. If you lose em, it won't be a pretty sight.

I use BenQ monitors - you'll never use another monitor again if you use these... They are that good.

The best monitors I have ever used period. So nice and easy on the eyes.. (I'm not affiliated in any way)

Time to get one

Caffeine as a methylxanthine increases the heart rate via the adenosine receptors. Also it is a mild bronchodialator. I don't really know why increased heart rate would effect eyes but i can see it happening because they are a lot of vessels there. All in all, i think ur eyes are dry or u need a better screen/reading mode screen on.
