can ebay/pp see that I am using proxy?

Hello,

I am using proxy as an IP solution for my stealth ebay/pp accounts.
DOes ebay know that I am using proxy?

On the whoer.net it says this:

So can ebay see this also?
If so, how to fix this?

It's necessary to choose proxy with higher level of anonymity.
 
The thing is, I rented a VPS and set it as a proxy server to which I am connecting from my desktop.

So how can I fix this? how can I close the ports or do anything that it will not show those open ports?
 
Is it possible to close that port or to do something so websites would not be able to see that I am using proxy?

Okay, how to make it hidden then? so they would not know?
 
Yes, they can very well see your are using proxy. But most of these sites works on cookies, so they wont hinder you from entering them. Other than they detect that you are using proxies that are already used to abuse their services.

It's not entering issue, it is that I am selling on ebay/paypal so I letting them know I am using proxy is not a good idea.

How do I hide that information from them?

whatismyproxy.com/

or here:
whatismyipaddress.com/proxy-check

it says "NO PROXY DETECTED".

how to be sure here?
 
If you are using a VPS it is better to use software such as Openvpn than using a proxy. If configuring openvpn on your VPS is a bit beyond your skills you can also tunnel through your VPS if you have SSH access which will give you similar results. To do this you install Putty on your computer and then use that to connect to your VPS by SSH and set a socks proxy in your browser to use local host. There are several tutorials on the net for setting up SSH tunnels just google setting up an SSH tunnel or similar search term.
Any website you connect to won't see a proxy it will look as though you are viewing the website directly from the VPS. A low end VPS for a few dollars per month is good enough to run as a private VPN/SSH tunnel

the reason why I want to conigure proxy is that I want to run multiple browsers with different IPs at the same time.
so I guess VPN is not an option here

And this SSH tunneling allows no ports to be shared/opened to public view?

How to make sure, no one knows I am using proxy?
How to make websites think this is an original IP and not proxy?
 
it all depend on how your server is configured, you can change SSH to run on a different port rather than the default port 22 or configure the firewall to drop any connections other than from your own PC IP address (But you would need to ensure that your own PC has a static IP address or you could get locked out of your VPS if your IP changed). It would be recommended changing the port number anyway even it not doing tunneling over SSH for added security. These port scans usually just check for common open ports rather than doing a complete scan of all ports all the way into the 10000s.
 
In January 2015, TorrentFreak reported that browsers supporting WebRTC suffer from a serious security flaw that compromises the security of VPN tunnels, by allowing the true IP address of the user to be read.[27] The IP address read requests are not visible in the browser's developer console, and they are not blocked by most ad blocking/privacy/security add-ons, enabling online tracking by advertisers and other entities despite precautions[28] (however the uBlock Origin add-on can fix this problem).[29]
 
if your paranoid about them revealing your real IP you can use remote desktop to connect to your VPS and then connect from a browser on the server, this way there is no way they could trace the IP back to your own PC unless ebay and paypal suddenly work out how to break SSH encryption from within a browser session. A Windows server has remote desktop built in but you can easily set it up on a Linux VPS using nomachine or VNC.

Thanks for putting me onto this WebRTC security hole it was not one I was aware of and it appears that with a standard SSH tunnel and Socks proxy it did reveal my true IP address (UK) with webRTC and with Firefox and Chrome in their default configurations.
When I use Firefox from my VPS using remote desktop it only shows my VPS IP adddress (US) running the same test so it appears that either disable WebRTC if using a VPN or connect using remote desktop is the way to go. See the screen shots
