what the cloud flare and can i cloak my website from bots and manual reviewers using CLOUDFLARE.COM

you can use Cloudflare in conjunction with a cloaker, but if you are asking whether Cloudflare can cloak by itself then the answer is no. You will still need cloaking software like blackjack's cloaker or WPCloaker or something similar.
 
Doesn't CloudFlare mask your nameservers and domain IP?

So if you are setting up a PBN and want to hide the fact that you have 2 PBN sites on the same nameserver you can use CloudFlare on one of them to avoid any huge footprints. I haven't done this but I'm curious if my logic is correct.

Interesting question. I've always been curious to know about it. I hear it's a good way to protect your Webhost's IP if you get banned from Facebook Ads.
 
Not only CloudFlare is good for masking your real server IP, it's also good for web protection and security. However, when you want to conjoin cloudFlare with a cloaking process, you will have to tweak your cloaker to white list CloudFlare IPs as they are actually proxies (assuming your cloaker is advanced enough to block proxies, datacenters, server IPs, hosting etc)
 
While CloudFlare does mask the real server IP it doesn't completely hide it. The HTTP header for traffic coming through CloudFlare includes X-Forwarded-For and X-Forwarded-Proto. As Blackjack said, CloudFlare is a good solution for security but it isn't magic pixie invisibility dust.
 
Cloudflare does mask nameservers but it doesn't mask the IP. The HTTP header has both X-Forwarded-For and (sometimes) CF-CONNECTING-IP in it... this is how there are Wordpress and non Wordpress plugs that make sites using Cloudflare work with analytics looks like Google Analytics, etc. Without it all the traffic IP sources would just be from CF IPs.
 
There is a lot of misinformation and/or wiggly talk going on in here. Many of you are asking a question, but it is not the actual question you intend to be asking. Sure you can make your PBN using cloudflare, and assume you are all done if you want to ... but as other smart folks have already said, this is not an all-in-one solution for your needs in that kind of a situation.

Cloudflare has a lot of uses and certainly many people use it to accomplish different goals, but it's primarily a "content distribution network." It's primary role and responsibilities are security and saving bandwidth.

It is in no way a standalone cloaking solution, but it can work with smart software such as Blackjack's 'Just Cloak It" Cloaker. However - you have to know EXACTLY what you want to accomplish to either cloak, or effectively set up a PBN -- so many folks asking questions would do well to conduct A LOT more research to completely understand their usage scenarios and the tools and resources they need to employ to accomplish their goals.

That's good to know! I use cloudflare for it's CDN purposes but I thought my IP would be hidden in the process, guess not
 
Which cloaker would you recommend, blackjack, datarise or fraudbuster?

Cloudfare protects and accelerates any websites online. If the website is the part of Cloudfare then its traffic is routed through intelligent global network.

Thus its is an Invincible part of a Website And hence you can use it in cloaking.

Cloudflare is truly awful if you are trying to cloak. Their caching will totally ruin your cloaking efforts unless you very carefully turn off caching in your CF account before you start serving pages. In my experience, even that is not guaranteed to work and you will probably end up serving cached surfer content to search engine bots at some point. Unless you are a major enterprise customer, if you have a problem then you can count on Cloudflare to be completely unhelpful and basically tell you very politely to go fuck yourself.

If you are unlucky enough to get pages cached then you are shit out of luck and you will be serving that cached content to surfers and spiders alike for days whether you like it or not. Even if you cancel your Cloudflare account and change your nameservers, Cloudflare will still end up serving whatever content they've got cached for several days in some parts of the world because of the way they update their edge servers and their general dominance over the global dns caching system.

In short, if you are cloaking, DON'T use Cloudflare.
