Can backlinks to inner pages increase homepage's PR?

If i get a lot of high quality backlinks from inner pages with PR, but all these backlinks would be to my inner pages as well, does this can make my homepage's PR increase?

Is it possible to get a high PR without having a lot of backlinks to my homepage, but having a lot of backlinks to my inner pages?

As long as there is a backlink to the homepage from the inner pages, they'll help. Not as much as links to homepage, but they definetly have value.

Strong links to internal pages comes more into play when you start building an authority site.

It's certainly going to represent trust from your inner page to your home page.

It's like making your home page an authority, it will make your inner pages rank well because the home page has trust and is authority.

Also, a link would always be valuable irrespective of where it comes from so long as it has PR, it doesn't matter if it's from the inner page.

Links to any page on your site will go towards your domains PR. In fact, it probably looks a bit odd to human eyes if most of your back links only pointed to your homepage. Eg in what situation would you link to YouTube or Wikipedia's homepage? You link to individual videos and articles.
