I am not very good with design. I need a software that is inexpensive or free that can create images of people, or take preset forms and manipulate them. The images do not need to be detailed (hair, wrinkles, expressions, etc.). I just need to be able to easily position the images or forms of the people into sitting, kneeling, bending, etc. I need to create quite a few images and I don't want to spend hours making each one. Is there a software that can do this that is simple to use? I have been searching but have come up empty handed.

You want to take a picture of someone standing and make it look like theyre sitting? i don't know that's possible with today's programs. Sounds like you want something like Adobe photoshop or something. Whatever it is you want will not be easy though.

No, sorry maybe I wasn't very clear. I need computer generated images. Take a basic human form and move it into the position I want. I am not looking to take a real picture and manipulate it. I am still searching around.

After Effects with the "pin" tool can do this easily. It's not cheap, but it may lead you in the right direction.

Thanks for your help, but I think I finally found what I was looking for. DAZ Studio 4.0 is free to download for a limited time. Not sure what the limitations are, but it seems to do what I want. I can drag the body parts into different positions and I am able to save the images to my computer. I just have to learn how to use it to get the results I want.

Use GIMP, its free and it's kinda like photoshop. Their are tons of plugins available too.

Hey man if you're looking for a program like Photoshop use GIMP. It's completely free and easier to learn than photoshop, and once you learn gimp moving up to photoshop when you're ready will be super easy.

i think if you really want to get a 3D body parts of human... use the DAZ Studio i think it's so great. You can change the position anywhere you want... but it needs powerful PC to operate it perfectly...
