Can anyone recommend an online Excel course

Hey guys,

I have a couple of staff who could do with some training on Excel. I don't have time to do it myself (and I'm not amazing, either), so would like them to do a course.

Doesn't need to be too advanced - probably beginner/intermediate level. Does anyone know of any suitable online courses? Preferably with case studies and an exam so they can follow it and get results.

lynda.com has some great courses, I'm very sure they have one for Excel, they make them in different levels too! Video courses with case study files to follow along with! Should be perfect for the situation.

I suppose you want them to learn about data entry, data manipulation etc so I think thats a good one.

To clarify it will be basic things like data manipulation, basic accounting etc. A solid knowledge of formulae and formatting would be all I need for now.
 
Well for how obvious it might sound for a quick reference of the super basic formulas nothing's probably better than hitting F1 in excel. But since you said you need help understanding data manipulation (so I assume an intermediate level), I think this website http://www.functionx.com/vbaexcel/ might come handy. It teaches with practical examples and scripts how to start dealing with the most interesting things you can do with Excel. So that you can use excel for what it was meant to be: a simple database with a streamlined "standard" visual view.HTH

Lynda looks pretty solid - think we'll give that a go next week and see how it goes.

Lynda is great as is learnkey but youtube is great and free. Can pretty much learn anything on it.
 
Yeah - although, I'm more looking for something structured than specific units. I'd rather have some fancy sheets and tests to work through. I will have a browse of YouTube, but I'd quite like to just give them a fixed course to follow and leave it at that. I know if I tell them to look on YT and follow a few examples, they will just end up watching funny videos and music :)
