OK,
The screen captures below are from an old html site.

I want to use wordpress but somehow get a similar look and feel.

So for almost 2 days I've been looking at various themes and I haven't had much luck.

I'm hoping that a few extra sets of eyes might help.

Well if you can get to know Wordpress well enough, you could use one of the big themes like BETheme to recreate something like this. If you know what you are doing, you can make your site look anyway you want.
Ive had designers design websites for me that have absolutely no clue how to design a website. But i still had to stick to their designs, and still made it look 100% like their designs.
Learn CSS well and you can do it.
Use something like Elementor as your page builder too, to make it easier to build the way you want it.

Any gallery theme will do the job, i'd prefer to get a Divi theme then customize it.

btw, there is a typo, can't help but noticed it: '' toute votre l'énergie'' instead it should be ''toute votre énergie'' . :)

So far that looks really good.
I'll have to check in to more.
 
It's too bad that they won't let you test the theme before they ask you to pay for it.

I know it's just a theme but it's also like all software... It might look good but it doesn't necessarily work the way you hoped it would
 
Check any theme on the internet, before clicking the order now button, check that theme available in the @Festinger vault.

And also if you need any edit or custom themes check with him, may he can help you.

I know and I've done that.
However, I've purchased a theme for a different site and it never worked right or looked like the demo.
It then took me forever to get my money back.
 
Go to the GPLDL share site and download either the Divi theme or the Divi Builder plugin

Yo can recreate any site you ever see
